Manual / intermediate twist-lock (also called
manual connector, intermediate stacking twist lock or manual intermediate twistlocks)
are intermediate twist-locks that used to secure two containers together (via
container corner casting locking). It has a shear load of 420 kN / tension load
500 kN and is available with right or left locking
mechanism.
Manual twist locks are designed for multiple
stacking of containers. It is used to connect the upper and lower corners of
the container. The twist-lock in the middle of the container can be divided
into left twist-lock and right twist-lock. That is, when the
operating handle is in the standard position or nonlocking state, when the
operating handle rotates to the locked position, the container twist-lock
reaches the tightening state. Therefore, when in use, the operating handle
should first be placed in the non-locking state and placed in the corner hole
or protruding base on the top of the lower container.
